Anonymity First
Strip metadata on upload. No accounts, no IP logs, no email required. Your identity dissolves before the file lands.
Story Field
Up to 1,200 words. Write the confession, the encounter, the strange pattern you noticed. Plain text or whispered audio.
Category Tagging
Sort into science, internet oddity, confession, glitch, dream-log, or leave it uncategorized for our archivists to classify.
Optional Reply
Generate a one-time mailbox handle if you want a response from curators or community. Burn it whenever you wish.
Contributor Guidelines
Submit only what you own or have permission to share. Secrets involving minors, doxxing targets, or active investigations will be rejected on sight. We archive human experience, not ammunition.
Truth is preferred but not mandatory. Label fiction clearly. The archive values what was felt as much as what was factual. Once published, entries enter the public record and cannot be edited or removed.
Frequently Asked Questions
How anonymous is submission really?
Files are scrubbed of EXIF and metadata client-side. We retain no IP logs and require no account. However, content itself can identify you, so write accordingly and avoid unique details.
Can I edit or delete my secret later?
Once approved and published, entries are permanent. This is an archive, not a forum. The deletion of records would break the historical chain. Choose your words with that weight in mind.
What gets rejected?
Content targeting private individuals, minors, inciting harm, or promoting illegal acts. Spam, marketing, and AI-generated filler with no human stake. The archivists review borderline cases manually.
How long until my submission appears?
Review typically takes 3-7 days. Complex pieces, especially scientific or unusual internet phenomena, may take longer for verification. We will contact you only if you opted in.
The Archive Waits
