I don’t know how to tell my parents that I’m anorexic. They think I’m perfect.

Is your anorexia related to how your Ps treat you? or is it unrelated?

Do you feel it’s difficult to reach out to both of them and talk about not only good but darker topics we run into from time to time?

I know how you feel. But really, it is best for you to tell them, even if it will be awful for you. You need to get help, because this disease can kill you. Don’t be alone with it any longer, because it will kill you eventually. Your parents care about you, and even if they think you are perfect, they still want the best for you. They will get over the shock of your non-perfectness (I mean, duh, no one is perfect) and everything will be okay. Just tell them and get it over with! You’ll feel better, trust me.

They might already know. You should tell someone ASAP.

So I’m reading this now and I’m praying that you gathered the strength to tell them and are now well and truly on the road back to good health, both physically and mentally.
