You were not born in the wrong era. There is life after death and you are here to live. Start living by allowing yourself to associate yourself as a kid and let the adults be grown up.

i never thought any1 else might feel like that too. i always think, i shouldnt be here now, i should’ve been alive during the victorian era. thankyou 4 helping me realise i’m not weird. i think it may be a past life coming through, but that still doesnt help me turn back time!

oh, and i’m only 17. so it has nothing to do with age. we’re just special and have a strong clairvoyance

I’m born in the wrong country, and when I have finished high school I’m packing my bags and leaving – probably for good.

I wish everyday that I was able to nip back in time to the 20′s-50′s and just stay there for a bit. mingle among the crowds, listen to the music I love played on vinyl, see the old movies i love on screen and just revel in the time thats rightfully mine.
so what if theres the downside of men over women, i’d sure as hell deal with that then have to deal with amount of shit our worlds offering.
for now though, i’ll take imagination over real life any time.

i wish i was born 5 years earier..

but i’m used to being lonely now. =l

Although I know how you feel, I wouldn’t want to actually live in another time. If I lived life in a different era, then I wouldn’t see the magic of that era. I’d take it for granted (much like I do with life now).
Also the health care wasn’t half as good as it is now.

We only want what we can not have. We always will. Embrace the moment.

I’m a 14 year old brit, and I want to be an American 40′s housewife. I love everything about the lifestyle, and it kills me that I’m stuck in this metal box of a country.

The only reason I wish I was born in a different era is so I could have seen Pink Floyd and other classic rock bands in their prime.

However, as much o a dick as Drew was life does suck… If you spend all your time wishing you were in a different time period you’re gonna let time pass you by and miss the amazing things that are going on in this current generation.

The main reason I’m glad I live in this generation is because as a former Marine and two time Iraq War vet I have nightmares and survivor guilt from Iraq. However, I would rather spend 5 years straight in Iraq than have to fight in Vietnam, WWI or WWII. Iraq sucked horribly but compared to some of the other conflicts I’m sure my tours were a cakewalk.

Do you not think people during the era you wish you were part of thought life sucked, just as people today do? If you lived in the era you would not notice the beauty and uniqueness because it would be what is normal.

Also time is passing you by, things change, but memories, photos, films etc stay. Looking back on a previous time is fun, maybe you may dream sometimes but things need to move on and always do. Holding on to something that is so distant is pointless, people need to enjoy life in the present moment (even if that includes admiration of another time).
