    the last secret made me cry, mostly because my dad is still alive and if he died I wouldn’t care.

    I feel the same about my mom. She passed away in late September and there is not a day that I don’t think about her.

    I lost my mom 10 years ago when I was 14. You’ll never stop missing them, but it does get easier… sort of.

    my dad left my mom for a younger woman. he would take my beanie babies and pokemon cards and give them to her kids. now, 12 years later, he makes me feel better about myself than my mom does.
